Social Studies Department
Social Studies Teachers:
Mary Ellen Bell has been teaching at WHS since 1988 and currently lives in Bath. She has a B.A. from Bates College and did her masters work at University of New Hampshire. Ms. Bell is an advisor to Students for Social Action.
Kelley Duffy was originally from Vermont, and has a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Swarthmore College. Ms Duffy moved to Bremen, Maine and Wiscasset High School in 2002 after teaching in Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Switzerland and Venezuela.
All department members teach the complete course offerings on a rotating basis.
